DESIGN IDEA 1 | Down the aisle
To give an overall feel that will give the bride a totally out-of-the-ordinary experience of being at the center of the stage and walking down the aisle.
This design scheme utilizes the lower level as a terraced space stage/showcase for an entourage where the brides come down from the fitting rooms on the ground level. These aisles also include integrated seating and are surrounded by mirrors to allow maximum views that give the bride a panoramic view of herself.
DESIGN IDEA 2 | Twisted Torso
This concept is derived from the swirly lines and organic forms that Vera Wangs bridal designs take. The sculptural element in the center of the building establishes a physical and visual connection between all floors.
The facade of the storefront is interrupted by a green courtyard that establishes a romantic set up for bridal photoshoots and seating areas for guests. The slab openings around the central volume create physical and visual connections to the different levels.
DESIGN IDEA 3 | The Bride
This concept is about utilizing the main ground level as a museum piece for Vera Wang signature bridal wear. It relates to the bride being the center of attention. It is all about highlighting and celebrating her personal experiences and feelings with her family and close ones.
Circular organic elements are inspired by floral and spiral fabric patterns in Vera Wangs designs. These organic elements connect the different levels and create synergy between them.
