Though our proposal was not selected for the final round, we still love to share our approach to the design of the space which challenges conventional format. Here the space design is critical to the stories ready to be uncovered and communicated.

ACROSS & OVER is an experiential architectural concept, which takes into account the importance of the physical and multi-sensory experience of the public in comprehending the exhibited materials. This approach offers unique opportunities to rethink the relationships between the contexts and contents of the exhibition and seeks to create a dialogue between the content and the public. In summary, ACROSS & OVER aims to create dynamic spaces that “unfold” the curatorial “vision” of the NPUAE’s (National pavilion of UAE) and take the public through a unique journey through the layers of UAE’s rich history, remarkable development of the present and pioneering visions for the future.
