RAW-NYC CITYSCAPE STAND

Cityscape global - 2014

The same year RAW-NYC established the Dubai office in 2014, they designed and built their first exhibition stand at Cityscape global in Dubai.

- RAW-NYC initiated upcycling initiative with Coca Cola 
- RAW-NYC upcycled 1200 used Coca Cola plastic bottles 
- RAW-NYC saved more than 50,000 UAE Dirhams by upcycling 
- RAW-NYC designed and built the first upcycled cityscape stand in Dubai
- RAW-NYC created upcycling student Initiative with Ajman University where student from Ajman University worked on the production of the components and the assembly
- RAW-NYC and their upcycling initiative was published in the news

An architectural vision to organize the marsh communities of Southern Iraq into an economically viable entity while addressing their most critical ecological concerns. While preserving the tradition of fishing and farming, the proposal recommends advanced technologies to produce organic food and potable water, generate green energy, and even cultivate fish. The vision is indicative of a shift from the traditional community structure to a sustainable, empowered community system. It is conceived to inspire the indigenous people to be engaged in restoring their marsh environment while maintaining their traditions.
