There has never been more interesting time in history to be an architect. The pressure imposed on the industry from globalization, generational shifts, and advancing in technology are evolving and accelerating. What does the present global situation tells us about where we are headed? the goal of our conference is to advance a dialogue between architects and the community to visualize and project the architecture profession 30 years in the future.

Sharjah is the anchor for the 2017 AIA Middle East Year End Conference. The conference will take place between December 8 & 9. As usual, AIA ME team has arranged for all needed assistance to our valued attendees, such as for transportation from hotels to the conference venue. Our event is being held at Sharjah Art Foundation - Al Hamriya Studios, Sharjah, UAE. Sharjah boasts many notable hotels such as Aldar, Sheraton Sharjah, Swiss Belhotel, Radisson Blu Resort and Hilton. With a total of 12 learning units available attending both days of this year's conference is an opportunity to earn the majority of the yearly requirement for Continuing Education Learning Units. Each presentation during the day will be a minimum one hour presentation with a time reserved for Q&A in order to satisfy AIA’s Continuing Education requirements. Below are the details of our program.
